Mr Rim Repairs PTY LTD – Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by Mr Rim Repairs PTY LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the customer (“you”, “your”). By booking a service with us, you agree to these Terms.
1. Scope of Work
1.1 We specialise in the repair and refinishing of wheels and brake calipers only.
1.2 We do not offer bodywork, decal supply or fitting, or other services outside our stated expertise.
1.3 We will not repair any wheel that has been previously worked on by an unrecognised repairer or has undergone poor-quality repairs.
2. Warranty
2.1 We provide a 12-month warranty on workmanship under normal use, starting from the date of service completion.
2.2 Warranty does not cover:
- Any wheel treated with tyre shine or other chemical residues at the time of repair or thereafter.
- Wheels that have been subsequently repaired, painted, modified, or altered by any other party after our service.
- Damage caused by road hazards, kerbing, accidents, misuse, neglect, or abnormal use.
2.3 Failure to follow aftercare instructions will void all warranty claims.
3. Client Presence
3.1 The client (or an authorised parent, guardian, or partner) must be present during the repair unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.2 We reserve the right to refuse service if the client or authorised representative is not available at the agreed appointment time.
4. Booking & Deposits
4.1 A non-refundable $50 deposit is required to secure all bookings.
4.2 The deposit will be deducted from the final invoice upon completion of the service.
4.3 If the booking is cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment, the deposit will be forfeited.
4.4 Rescheduling is permitted once at no cost if requested more than 24 hours prior to the appointment. Additional reschedules may incur further fees.
5. Job Acceptance & Conditions
5.1 We reserve the right to refuse or reschedule any job due to:
- Unsafe or unsuitable working conditions.
- Poor weather or environmental factors that may affect the quality of the repair.
- Inaccurate or incomplete booking information.
5.2 Any additional work required outside the original scope will be quoted separately and must be approved by you before proceeding.
6. Aftercare
6.1 We will provide you with specific aftercare instructions upon completion of your service.
6.2 It is your responsibility to follow these instructions to maintain the quality of the finish and preserve any warranty coverage.
7. Pricing & Payment
7.1 All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated.
7.2 Full payment is due immediately upon completion of the service unless alternative arrangements have been made in writing prior to the booking.
7.3 Payment methods accepted include cash, EFTPOS, and approved bank transfers.
8. Liability
8.1 While all due care is taken, we accept no liability for:
- Pre-existing damage, corrosion, or structural defects in the wheel or caliper.
- Loss, damage, or delays caused by third-party suppliers, weather, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
8.2 Our total liability in connection with any service is limited to the cost of that specific service.
9. Amendments to Terms
9.1 We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time without prior notice. Updated Terms will be made available on our website.
